Peter Downing

PETER DOWNING performed in The Fantasticks (Bellomy, The Girl’s Father) and decades ago on our stage as Lieutenant Cable in South Pacific, and he is very pleased to be back. His work on other stages includes Sunday in the Park With George, She Loves Me., Guys and Dolls, Big Fish, Ragtime, A Grand Night for Singing, Sondheim on Sondheim, and Flowers in Your Hair: A 60s Musical Revue at Players Guild of Leonia. He holds an MA in Acting and Directing from Penn State University and was a Senior Show Director and Producer for Walt Disney Entertainment in Florida. Currently, he runs his own company as a Producer and Creative Director of special events and projects, and is thrilled to finally be in this wonderful and timeless show. Peter dedicates his performance in The Fantasticks to the “Luisas” in his life: Hayley Novak and Riley Mae. This one is for Ken Kraft.
